Terms of use

Effective date: 2 November 2026

These terms apply when you download or play Kerb Kicker ("the game"), made by Stefan Small ("I", "me"), an independent developer in London. By playing the game, you agree to them. They sit alongside the terms of the App Store or Google Play, depending on where you got the game.

Your licence to play

I give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download Kerb Kicker and play it on devices you own or control, for your own enjoyment. You may not copy, sell, rent out, modify or reverse-engineer the game, or use its artwork, music or other content outside the game. Kerb Kicker and everything in it belong to me.

Virtual items

Golden whistles, balls and anything else you earn or unlock in the game are virtual items. They have no real-world money value, can't be exchanged for cash, and can't be transferred to anyone else. They're saved on your device, so if you delete the game or lose your device, items you earned by playing may be lost.

Purchases and refunds

Kerb Kicker is free to play, with optional in-app purchases. All purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play and follow their payment and refund policies. I can't issue refunds myself, so if you'd like one, please ask Apple or Google:

Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.

Fair play

Please play fair. Don't use cheats, hacks, bots or modified versions of the game, and don't try to interfere with leaderboards or other players. If someone breaks these rules, I may remove their scores from leaderboards.

Updates and availability

I may update the game from time to time to fix bugs, change features or add new content. I'll do my best to keep Kerb Kicker running smoothly, but I can't promise it will always be available or free from bugs.

Liability

The game is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, I'm not responsible for any loss that wasn't a reasonably foreseeable result of me breaking these terms. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Please play somewhere safe, and never play while walking near roads or driving.

Changes to these terms

If I change these terms, I'll update this page and the effective date at the top. If you keep playing after a change, you're agreeing to the updated terms.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also be able to bring a claim in your local courts.
